Recreation Master Plan
In April 2007 Council embarked on the preparation of a Parks and Recreation Master Plan for the Town of Pasadena. TRACT Consultants were engaged to assist Council in this task. On the basis of a Public Survey, Stakeholder and Public meetings, SWOT analysis etc. a draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan was prepared by Tract. Additional work was undertaken by Atlantic Engineering Consulting Ltd. and presented in a report titled Town of Pasadena Recreation Centre - Space and Cost Considerations. Following extensive debate Council has adopted the TRACT Report Recommendations 5.1.2 to 5.1.10. With modifications, as outlined in Section 4.2.4 of its Strategic Planning Document, Council also endorses Recommendation 5.1.1 of the Tract Report. Following receipt of a revised floor plan for the proposed Recreation Centre, Council will proceed as outlined in Section 4.2.6 of the Strategic Planning Document.
